Beppe Gold Moscato d’Asti

Production area: Moscato d’Asti is a wine made from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes, grown in the Piedmont region in the north west of Italy.

Denomination: D.O.C.G (denominazione di origine controllata e garantita)

Grapes Variety: Moscato

Vinification: The grapes are subjected to a very delicate pressing which allows only the best must from the grapes to be extracted, which is left to cool. Then the fermentation starts and stops when the required alcohol level is reached. Finally, it is aged in steel for a couple of months at a temperature of 0° C.

Tasting Notes: Moscato d’Asti DOCG has a characteristic, bright straw yellow colour. The bouquet is intense and fragrant with notes of yellow fruit, scents of sage, lemon and aromatic herbs. The palate is aromatic and delicately sweet, making it deliciously drinkable.

Pairing: Moscato d’Asti DOCG is a sweet, light and very drinkable wine, traditionally drunk with desserts, biscuits and cakes. It enhances the flavour of pastries and patisserie and is perfect with traditional Italian Christmas cakes such as Panettone and Pandoro. It is also ideal with soft cheeses.
